Open Office for casual-users, not power-users

Open Office is similar to MS Office which is a free suite; with word processing, spreadsheet, and database - features compatible with MS format, into Open Office - platform. Open Office is a fundamental code-based interface. Larger companies extend the fundamental aspects of Open Office and tailor their needs - built up from the foundation or beginning with Open Office. Thus, the difference is Open Office is a lay person's Office Suite, in contrast to, a power user which needs access to a algorithm geared toward software for a larger company.
