Whether the need to develop skills hovers around business or personal, computer skills can be acquired online or in a private setting. For example, a learning meeting can be conducted by chat rooms; as with Yahoo Instance Messenger, otherwise, a private learning session at a library or coffee cafe'.

Upon evaluating your strengths and weaknesses, as related to the textual material; a plan will be formulated to steer you learning concepts within the best direction, toward computer, knowledge. For instance, depending on your typing speed; performing computer instructions by talking or chatting on the computer, as one scenario.
Otherwise, a formal meeting in a private location will allow a personal touch to computer instruction; given computer concepts can be easier to grasp; upon a visual representation or leader cards of the material.

I. Turn the computer on & off, while checking for working parts that are hooked up and installed properly.

III. Entering a software program, like word processor (Word) or spreadsheet (Excel); depends on Icons and executable programs, which are installed on your computer.
IV. Upon entering a word processor, a typing test will be performed; as by entering a spreadsheet, a data entry test will be performed to measure you keystrokes per minute & analyzing accuracy.
V. One a data is typed into a Word Processor or entered into a spreadsheet, the file needs to be save for future retrieval, without retyping from scratch.
VI. Merge a Word document with Excel pie chart, by using rows in columns in Excel to formulate a graph; while adding the graph into a Word Document to add visual meaning to the written word.
VII. Color, Highlights, and Font size provides a landmark so important items, stand-out for the reader.
VIII. Printing a polished document, upon previewing the report is a physical piece of written text to submit for published credit, work report, or school paper
IX. Exit the program (Word or Excel)
X. Turn the computer off, so the life of the computer is extended.In conclusion, an assessment of you learning style will be performed to determine what is the best way for you to learn computer concepts; typing over a chat room environment; otherwise, visual cues from one on one meeting.
