Diamond Archery, a leading American manufacturer of bows and archery accessories, supports Ray Howell's Kicking Bear Camp for Kids to excite youth about archery and bowhunting.

Among America's best-known bowhunters, Howell developed the program to give disadvantaged kids a place to learn about archery and bowhunting in a safe and fun environment. Events throughout the country offer a full camp-out experience with food, fun, and archery instruction provided by industry expert mentors--all at no cost to attendees. Fun prizes are also provided through industry donations.

"I grew up in a broken home in tough times, and most of my childhood friends from that era are either dead or in jail" Howell said. "Fortunately, one man took the time to introduce me to the outdoors during my high school years, and that had a huge and positive impact on my life. Now I have the opportunity to partner with amazing companies like Diamond Archery to help other kids have la better life."

All of Diamond Archery's youth hunting and target bows will carry special hangtags promoting youth archery and Ray Howell's Kicking Bear Camp for Kids.

"This camp does an absolutely amazing job of bringing the fun and challenge of archery to kids--many of them at-risk youngsters who, for whatever reasons, have been dealt a bad hand in life," said BowTech President and CEO John Strasheim.
