Judo technique is based on your body position and patient. When sparring, points are taken off by enforcing a Jujitsu maneuver; as some take downs are similar.
A competition is based on feeling comfortable on the mats and executing a throw; through practice and experience - merged together. Cross training between Judo and Jujitsu increases technique and develops minute technique nuances, for upper and lower body effectiveness on the mats.
Because a match could be tied with a limited time left in the match, remaining flexible and switching between lower and upper-body maneuvers is essential. Also, the person protects themselves from injury and remains a competitive players, as seen in USA and European matches. Thus, consistence is relevant for Jujitsu, but flexibly, leg work, upper body strength is good for Judo.
